Studio Policies & Terms

Each of our clients are very valuable to us! Because we want to make each photography experience as easy and enjoyable as possible, and out of fairness to both our clients and ourselves, we enforce the following policies for all sessions.

Studio Hours:
Monday - Friday: 4pm - 8pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am - 8pm

All clients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Please do not contact the Photographer for any photography related questions via text or their personal Facebook. The Photographer needs to be able to track and keep a record of your conversations, especially when it has to do with your sessions. The best way to book and discuss your sessions and events is through email (this website) or the Photographers Facebook business page.

The session fee pays for the time and talent of the photographer plus one password protected gallery with the amount of images from your session guaranteed upon booking. The retainer paid on the day of booking your session will be subtracted from the total session fee. This is a non-refundable fee. However, your session may be rescheduled in the case of an emergency or with at least 24 hours’ notice for any non-emergency free of penalty. The remainder of the session fee is due at the time of your session.

Prices are subject to change without notice. However, you will be locked into the current prices for that session at the time of booking. Once that session is completed, any sessions beyond that will be subject to the current prices at the time of booking. The Photographer will not honor any quotes that are more than 30 days old.

You agree to hold harmless, Kerri Kordich, her representatives, and Kerri Kordich Photography, LLC, from any dispute in the event you become injured during your session on location or while on the studio premises. Kerri Kordich Photography, LLC and its representatives will not be held liable for any injury incurred by you or your family, or any damage to your property during the photo session while on location or while on studio premises.

While the Photographer will capture many images during your session, you will only see those images selected by her, the artist, for viewing. She carefully renders each image to ensure maximum artistry and technical perfection. Images with eyes closed, head turned, duplicates, etc. will not be shown and are deleted from the Photographers archives permanently after the artistic rendering is complete.

Your session will start at the agreed upon time. I strongly encourage clients to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of their session. This allows for last-minute feeding, changing, and relaxing before the session begins. The session time starts regardless of client arrival time.

If a Client is to arrive more than 10 minutes late to a mini session or more than 20 minutes late to a full session, they will have to either:

A: reschedule (fee applies)

OR

B: the Client may choose to continue the session with what time they have left

No exceptions. When applicable, the Client may purchase additional time at the rate of $50.00 for 30 minutes or $100.00 for one hour (due in person immediately, prior to the session continuing).

If you have a sick child on the day of the session, please call to reschedule. If you try to keep the appointment and the Photographer notices that the child/children are sick, the Photographer will most likely request that you reschedule, at no extra charge. Sick or uncomfortable children do not like to be photographed and we know that you will not love your portraits nearly as much as you would if he or she was feeling their best. Do note that the Photographer cannot guarantee the number of images captured due to children's behavior and temperament that is beyond the Photographer's control.

Sometimes children have different plans when it comes to schedules and sometimes they're just having an off or bad day. This can require additional time. If you wish to add time to your session appointment (when applicable), the following fees will be added:

- 30 minutes: $ 50.00 (due in person the day of the session prior to the session continuing)
- 1 hour: $ 100.00 (due in person the day of session prior to the session continuing)
- Rescheduling mid-session (unless offered by the Photographer): $ 25.00 (due in person immediately prior to the session continuing)

Respectfully, the Photographer retains the right to reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, death in the family, inclement weather and other unforeseen events beyond the Photographer's control. The Photographer will inform the Client as soon as possible should she need to reschedule. The Photographer will reschedule the session for the earliest possible date available.

Please keep in mind that evening and weekend sessions are in high demand and although the Photographer will go to great lengths to meet your scheduling needs, these sessions can book well in advance.

Please do not bring a large group of people (family, friends, etc) that are not going to be included in the session. Bringing a friend or two is always welcome for senior sessions, and of course if one parent is unable to attend a child's session, a "helper" is more than welcome to attend as well. This is especially important with pets and kids, as the Photographer will need their full attention on her rather than looking at other people.

The Photographer does not allow other cameras/cell phones, other photographic, or recording devices be used during the session. The Photographer will stop the session until these devices are put away. This is very distracting to the subject/s and to the Photographer. Please answer phone calls away from where the session is being held.

Basic retouching is included in every photography session. Additional retouching is available per-request at $ 30.00/per image. If the Photographer feels the retouching is too extensive/time consuming, it will be outsourced, to be paid for by the Client.

While digital files are given, please understand that Kerri Kordich Photography, LLC (KKP) retains the copyright to all images produced by her. Images may not be manipulated in any form without express written consent from Kerri Kordich Photography, LLC (KKP), including collages, filters of any kind, etc. If you would like an image in black and white that is color, or that is in color but would prefer in black and white, please contact Kerri Kordich Photography, LLC.

The Copyright Act protects photographers by giving us the exclusive rights to reproduce our images. Violations include, but are not limited to, making illegal copies, scanning, printing from home without a print release, downloading from our website/social media sites, or screenshots from your galleries of images you do not wish to purchase. It is illegal to copy or reproduce these photographs in any manner without our permission and violators of this Federal Law will be subjected to its civil and criminal penalties. The Client is to understand that once the session has been completed and a private gallery of the images has been delivered, Kerri Kordich Photography cannot assume any liability in any portion if the work is lost, stolen, damaged, or otherwise unavailable to the client.

Pets are welcome so long as they are well-behaved and non-violent and are to be included in the session. Please do not bring any violent animals or any animals that will not be participating in the session. Also, please let the Photographer know you are bringing your pet to the session in advance.

A $ 35.00 fee will be applied for any returned/bounced checks or declined credit cards per time submitted (to the full extent that the financial institution will allow), and late charges may be assessed in the event of a payment schedule. Please ask for details if needed. If a payment is more than 90 days delinquent, all monies paid will be forfeited and the order will be cancelled.

Regarding Cancellation:
- There is a 50% non-refundable retainer due to schedule the desired session date/time.
- The Client may reschedule their session at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled session time free of penalty.
- If the Client reschedules their session with less than 24 hours’ notice, they will incur a $ 15.00 rescheduling fee, except in cases of illness or emergency.
- No shows will forfeit their non-refundable retainer. The Photographer will try to remind the Client about their appointment at least 24 hours ahead of time, but it is not guaranteed. The Photographer is *not* responsible for client attendance.
- Kerri Kordich Photography works by appointment only.
- The new appointment date must be made at the time of cancellation, except in case of severe illness (hospitalizations, death in the family, or Acts of God).
- If the weather is bad or is forecast to be bad, the Photographer will reschedule the session appointment. This is up to the discretion of the Photographer.

Due to the custom nature of the work, any print order is subject to a 50% cancellation fee should you change your mind about an order after it has been placed. Once an order is sent to the lab, it is deemed non-refundable. Payments may be made by Square, cash or credit/debit card, or personal/cashier check. Payment plans are available. Prints and products ordered, will not be sent to the lab until the payment plan is complete and the total balance has been paid in full. If you choose a payment plan option, 25% of your total amount due is due immediately as a down payment. Payment plans are also limited to a 6-12 month time period and are for orders of $300.00 or more (the smaller the order, the shorter the payment plan).

- All orders must be placed in person/or online through your personal gallery.
- Payment must be made in full at time of ordering unless doing a payment plan.
- All orders with a payment plan must be completed in person.
- Rush orders are available for a 30% price increase.
- If you want to make a change in your order or cancel it completely, you have 24 hours after your order has been placed with no penalty fee.
- No refunds are allowed once an order has been sent to the lab.
- Due to the custom nature of our work, all sales are final.
- No orders will be placed until the full amount has been paid.
-Standard sales tax and shipping is required to be collected on all orders.
- Pick up in studio or shipped to you directly must be decided at time of order.
- Orders not picked up within 30 days will be subject to a $ 25.00 storage fee.
- Any defects in workmanship will be promptly corrected at no cost to the Client.
- If a photograph or other purchased print becomes damaged (not due to faulty workmanship) within 1 year of purchase, Kerri Kordich Photography will replace the print at 50% cost. Replacement product cost vary by the type and size of the portrait or product, so please contact Kerri Kordich Photography to obtain a current price.
- Images that are purchased will be archived for 1 years’ time and are available for reprint. Images not purchased for print are only archived for 6 months.
- Re-orders placed more than 90 days after receiving the private gallery, require a minimum of a $ 100.00 order.

Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for your print order to be completed. Some print orders may take longer, especially during the holidays, lab season times, and for special services. Albums may take 7-10 weeks depending on the lab. Your portraits are an investment and an heirloom that should not be rushed. You will be notified by telephone or e-mail when your order is ready for pickup (if you chose this option at the time of ordering). If you are unable to pick up your order, we can ship your order for an additional charge or hand deliver within reason.

Re-shoot Policy:
My goal as a professional photographer is to make you happy and excited about your photographs. There is no charge for re-shoots due to technical issues (equipment malfunction, computer malfunction, etc) or if the Photographer feels as if the images are not up to the standard of their portfolio. However, due to the limited nature of what I do, I cannot offer free re-shoots for any reason due to client regret over wardrobe, facial expressions, hair, wind or other items beyond my control. In the event that you would like to schedule another session due to client regret in the previous session completed, Kerri Kordich Photography may choose to offer a discounted session price. Re-shoot must be scheduled within 2 weeks of receiving the previous session’s gallery. 

Kerri Kordich Photography is committed to your privacy. We will not sell or exchange names or any other personally identifiable information about our clients with third parties, and work to ensure your personal information is secure at all times. We fully understand that some clients would like to remain anonymous due to their job or other personal reasons.

Your images will never be used on Facebook, on our website, as print samples or anywhere else without your express consent (see contract for details). Any images used by Kerri Kordich Photography, have been used with the clients consent.
